About us
Driven by women, Wāhine Fuelled Tech provides a safe and supportive environment that empowers you to develop your technology skills, your career and your network.
All are welcome, you don't need to identify as female or be currently working in tech to participate. We expect all our members and attendees (including those attending events as members' guests) to be respectful of, and behave appropriately towards, all other participants.
We also have this Wāhine Fuelled Tech calendar, which gives an overview of all sorts of tech- and diversity-related events happening in Wellington. If you have anything to add to the calendar, please message the group organisers.
We are always looking for volunteers, speakers and topics - if you would like to present, host, sponsor or help organise any of our events or activities, please contact the organisers - we'd love to hear from you!

Welcome to Wāhine Fuelled Tech's first ever "Mums in Tech" event!
This is our chance to honour the amazing capabilities of mums in every kind of workplace, we appreciate your mahi in life. Mums handle multiple constantly changing environments (their bodies, homelife, worklife), negotiate with difficult customers (little and big) and just deal with everything the motherhood journey throws at them (all the highs and lows).
On the night we'll be hearing from 3 incredible mums - they've not only grown their own families but have grown brand new businesses as well - now that's next level! Their businesses are delightfully different but all have a common theme of helping make people's lives easier. We can't wait to hear them share their real and honest journeys with us.

Organised by Wāhine Fuelled Tech, this event offers a safe, inclusive space where you can grow your Tech skills, explore career opportunities, and build meaningful connections. Everyone is welcome, you don’t need to work in Tech or identify as female to attend. We expect respectful and inclusive behaviour from all attendees of our events.
