Saturday Morning Mindfulness Practice
Details
You're warmly invited to join us for a morning of mindfulness in community
Life moves quickly. It's easy to get caught in busyness, stress, and distraction. Practicing mindfulness helps us come home to the present moment, but it's often easier when we practice together
Our gathering may include guided or silent meditation, mindful breathing, walking meditation, deep listening, and compassionate communication. Together, we'll explore practical ways to bring greater presence, understanding, and compassion into everyday life
Inspired by the teachings, wisdom, and practices of the Plum Village tradition of Zen Master Thích Nhất Hạnh, our practice is not based on beliefs or ideology. Rather, it offers simple, practical practices for cultivating mindfulness, compassion, and understanding in everyday life. People of all backgrounds, beliefs, and life experiences are warmly welcome
Please wear comfortable clothing and, if possible, bring your own meditation cushion or bench. I'll have a few extra cushions available and one chair for anyone who needs it.
The formal gathering concludes at 10:00 a.m., and anyone who would like to is welcome to stay afterward for tea and conversation
Location: The exact address in Belton will be shared after you RSVP
If you're longing to practice with others, you're warmly invited to join us
