Come along to meet new people, learn about your local area and get hands-on with some creative fun!
Our friendly staff will guide you through activities and there will be lots of opportunities to explore Wakefield Museum.

April's Museum Meet-up @ Wakefield Museum
Wakefield Museum, Wakefield One, Burton Street, Wakefield, al, GBJoin us this month, on Saturday Lunch time at Wakefield One, to have the chance to meet new people, learn about your local area and get hands-on with some creative fun!
This month we’ll be having a go at lino printing inspired by The Cat That Slept for a Thousand Years which is on display at WX and also some of the cats in the museum collection!
We will meet at the Learning Zone which is located within Wakefield Library, floor one of Wakefield One.
Jane will be your host, to greet you and lead the session.

April's Museum Meet-up @ Pontefract Castle
Pontefract Castle, Castle Garth, Pontefract, GBJoin us this month, on Wednesday Evening at Pontefract Castle, to have the chance to meet new people, learn about your local area and get hands-on with some creative fun!
This month we’ll be having a go at lino printing inspired by "Ilbert the Dragon" (the Castle’s mascot) and images of dragons from the museum collection !
We will meet at the Education Room in Pontefract Castle.

May's Museum Meet-up @ Wakefield Museum
