September’s Museum Meet-up @ Wakefield Museum

Join us this month, on Saturday Lunch time at Wakefield One, to have the chance to meet new people, learn about your local area and get hands-on with some creative fun!

This month we'll be meeting in a new location in Wakefield One - the room is called the Pontefract Suite and it is near to the museum entrance, if you ask at the desk in the museum they'll be able to direct you to the room.

This month we’ll be having a go applique and sewing inspired by the textiles created by the Refugee Council which are on display in the museum. You'll have chance to create a textile piece inspired by 'your story' - I chose 'Pie and Peas'! You'll also have chance to chat and enjoy a brew and a biscuit and you could even spend time in the museum after the session?
We will meet at the Pontefract Suite which is located within Wakefield Library, floor one of Wakefield One.
Jane will be your host, to greet you and lead the session.
