This is the Meetup Group for the Science Fiction Association of Bergen County. We are a long-established group devoted to the literature, cinema, television, science, etc. of science fiction, fantasy, horror, and related areas. We run over a dozen online and in-person events each month. Our website is

This Meetup is for people who want to get together, whether in person or online. We would rather have a group of 20 active people than a group of 2000 people who do not participate. If you do not regularly (every three months) attend an event you will be removed from the group. We have a FaceBook event you can instead join.
Our monthly General Meetings feature presentations by writers, artists, scientists, and other interesting people. We run book groups, movie nights, television gatherings, astronomy presentations, critique sessions for writers, and other activities each month. If you do not find this interesting and exciting, then you do not belong in this group.

Writers Thursday Zoom - Two Story Session
·OnlineOnlineMatt Mc Hugh will facilitate this two story critique session via Zoom Video Conference. This is a cold reading by someone who is not the author. The story will be emailed ahead of time to allow people to print a hard copy if they so desire. However, the work should not be read and annotated until the start of the session.
