Senni Valley Circuit

What a day hiking! We make a circular route around the gorgeous Senni Valley.

Starting at Heol Senni Village Hall (parking charge of £5 per vehicle) we follow the Roman Road, Sarn Helen, uphill, past the uber picturesque hanging valley, past Maen Llia, a huge singular megalith, before heading onto the side of Fan Nedd.

Then it's up and an exploration of the abandoned Senni Quarry before downhill and back to the start point.

15km and 500m of ascent, so a tough-ish day on paper but with the ascents in the main gentle. A day that has so much beauty and interest you'll agree it was all worth it :)

Walking boots, layers, waterproofs and a good packed lunch are essential.
