About us
If you are tired of loud bars, rushed interactions, and conversations that never move beyond the surface, you are not alone. This is exactly why I started Walk and Talk. It offers a calm, genuine way to meet people through movement and conversation.
🌿 What you can expect
• A relaxed stroll with people who enjoy thoughtful discussion and light movement
• No agenda and no pressure
• Flat, comfortable routes so your attention stays on the conversation, not the terrain
• Space for any mood whether you wish to speak, listen, or simply be present
• An open, welcoming atmosphere for newcomers, introverts, extroverts, and anyone in between
☕ What you can bring
• Your coffee
• Your ideas
• Your curiosity
• Your awkwardness
• Yourself, exactly as you are
🧭 Why join
• You will meet people in a setting that feels natural rather than forced
• You will have conversations that feel sincere
• You will explore the city in good company
• You may find a community that becomes part of your weekly rhythm
If you are new to Auckland, seeking meaningful connection, or simply wanting a calmer social experience, we would be glad to see you on a walk. Many people arrive alone and quickly feel at ease.
If this sounds right for you, I hope you will join me soon.
Walk & Talk walks are free. Information about optional koha is available on the official website: https://www.walkandtalk.org.nz/#koha. Bank details are published only there. I will never post or send payment details on Meetup, and I will never contact you asking for payment, so any details you see here are not from me. If you come across any, please let me know.
