About us
Our friendly group is for people of all ages who have lost their life partners, and want to walk and talk with others in a similar situation who may understand how they are feeling. Our walks provide a safe space to share experiences, coping strategies, and companionship while enjoying the beauty of nature.
We meet once a month, usually on a Sunday morning, within a short drive of Norwich. The walks usually take about 2 hours, and sometimes we have coffee etc along the way or afterwards.
Please get in touch if you'd like to know more :)

Our friendly group is for people of all ages who have lost their life partners, either recently or a while ago, and want to walk and talk with others in a similar situation who may understand how they are feeling. Our walks provide a safe space to share experiences, coping strategies, and companionship, while enjoying the beauty of nature.
We will meet at Mattishall Sports and Social Club, 47 South Green, Mattishall, Dereham NR20 3JY. Please arrive ready for a 9am start as we will leave promptly, and do consider carsharing to get there if possible as parking may be limited.
The walk will take about 2.5 hours, after which we will be sharing refreshments nearby, so please bring snacks/ drinks should you wish to stay longer. We will be walking in country fields and lanes so please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. As always, the event is free to attend, but no dogs thank you, and please note that the walk is unfortunately not suitable for people with mobility issues, and also that walkers take part at their own risk. Please also be aware that we are a peer group for mutual support, and that our events are not led by trained grief counsellors.
RSVP below as it helps us to manage numbers, and do message us if you have any questions at all.
