February Walk - High Ash
Details
Please join us for our next group walk on Sunday 15th February. Our friendly group is for people of all ages who have lost their life partners, and want to walk and talk with others in a similar situation who may understand how they are feeling. Our walks provide a safe space to share experiences, coping strategies, and companionship, while enjoying the beauty of nature.
We will meet at the parking area at Boudicca Way, Stoke Holy Cross, Caistor St Edmund Norwich NR14 8QL - NOT at Venta Icenorum, Stoke Road (where there is paid parking , but bear in mind this is a 10 minute walk away). Please make sure you arrive on time as we will be leaving promptly at 9am, and if possible please carshare to get there as parking may be limited – thank you.
The walk is a short one this month at just 3 miles ( longer ones will be happening soon, we promise) and should take about 1.5 hours. It may be muddy so please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. The walk is unfortunately not suitable for people with mobility issues.
A coffee van may be open at the end of the walk, but this is weather dependant so please bring a flask/ snacks if required.
As always, the walk is free to attend, but no dogs thank you, and please note that walkers take part at their own risk. Please also be aware that we are a peer group for mutual support, and that the event will not be led by trained grief counsellors.
Please RSVP below so we can manage numbers, and do message me if you have any questions at all.
Sue and Helen
