Reach Jakhu Hill

Due to some administrative problems we have to postpone the dates from 6th December to 16th December - 2014. Kindly schedule yourself accordingly.

We are an organization named as SHIMLA (Save Heritage Involving Maximum Local Associates). We are initiating with the cleaning of Jakhu Hill and this is our first effort to Make Shimla Clean.

The Participants are called Wipers. All the Wipers are required to assemble at Jakhu Hill - Shimla at the scheduled time. The Municipal Corporation is going to provide us the vehicles and the labor. We are starting the Cleaning mission from there. The area around Jakhu Hill, has got converted into a garbage ground. So we start the cleaning work from there.

We are not charging any money for this act, neither we are going to pay you. We are looking for volunteers and your contribution to the act. We invite people from different walks of life. All are welcome. Come to us, join us and contribute from your life. The examples are as follows :

Are you an advertiser? : You can contribute by providing us the banners. You are free to choose the number of banners you want to contribute. We need maximum 20 banners.

Are you a hotelier? : In future we shall be announcing awards for the participants coming from outside, on the basis of their performance. You may offer a two night holiday package complimentary for a couple.

Do you sell Garbage Bags? : You may provide us some of them to carry the rubbish that we pick up.
