A small group of curious people meets in the dunes for a relaxed 1 to 2 hour walk. Small enough to remember everyone's name.
If you’re joining for the first time, you won’t be the only one. Most people come solo.
I bring conversation cards. Some are ridiculous. Some accidentally become the best conversation you've had all week.
Phones stay in pockets. The conversations don't need them.
New to the area, a long-time local, or simply curious about the people around you. You’re welcome here.
There’s no need to perform. Just show up and walk.

After 8 events (and many great conversations in our usual spot), we’re switching things up and trying a new location in the dunes.
Same concept, same vibe, just a different starting point and new paths to explore together.Please note: there is a €1.50 entrance fee for the area. You can buy your ticket online, in advance, and have it ready when we meet: Amsterdamse Waterleidingduinen tickets
Our new meeting point is at the entrance, in front of the pannenkoekenhuis at Amsterdamse Waterleidingduinen (Ingang Oase).
Everything else stays the same. We’ll start with quick introductions and a simple ice-breaker, then head out for a relaxed walk where conversations can flow naturally.
Everyone is welcome. Your phone is welcome on the walk, but not as an active participant. The goal is true, human connection.
What to bring:
• Comfy shoes
• Weather-appropriate clothing (we walk even if it rains)
• Water
