Welcome to Walk This Way Too!
We’re a fun, inclusive, easy-going group that enjoys walking and social activities. Whether you’re here to meet people, stay active, or just get out of the house, you’re welcome to join.

$5/year after a 30-day trial. See guidelines below for details.

Guidelines & Code of Conduct

RSVPs – Only RSVP if you plan to attend. Update promptly if plans change. Repeated no-shows may lead to removal.
Dues – $5/year after the 30-day trial. Non-payment results in removal by Meetup. Payment via Meetup preferred; cash may be accepted at the organizer's discretion.
Dogs – Allowed only where permitted. Must be friendly, leashed, and under control.
Smoking/Vaping – Not allowed during events unless permitted by the venue.
Participation – Attend at your own risk. You are responsible for your safety and well-being.
Conduct – Be respectful. No harassment, discrimination, or abuse.
Communication – Use Meetup for communication. Phone numbers shared are for day-of-event use only.
Guests – Allowed (21+). Members are responsible for their guests.
Event Changes – Organizers may modify or cancel events, with notice when possible.

If you have been thinking of getting out and walking, maybe meeting some new friends in an easygoing, fun and welcoming atmosphere, well… this group is for you!
We will meet at 9:30am. at the GAZEBO at PARKS LAKE, Rockaway, NJ
(If the prediction is for rain or high heat/humidity, we’ll meet at the Rockaway Mall, at Cinnabons in the food court at 9:30am. Check back on Thursday evening for weather update)
The group walk is about an hour or so. We can become a few groups (based on the preferred walking speed of the individuals) who meet at the end of the walk to socialize for an hour or so with the entire group (you can skip this if you want). Meet old friends and make new ones!
Everyone is free to go at their own speed. All are welcome!
We will also have many other fun “events” and group walks which will be posted here. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join in.
