There are a number of ways to VOLKSSPORT and distances vary. Most walks are 10k (6.2 miles) but there are many 5k routes, some 20k and also 32k and 42k routes at the walking festivals.
You can participate in year round walks, group walks, club walks, event walks and walking festivals!

Join with Interlaken Trailblazers for a new route!
Discover the Spring District, Bellevue’s newest neighborhood, with brand new housing, restaurants, and even an open courtyard with great big porch swings! From there, explore a mix of what Bellevue has to offer, with a walk through the commercial district along Northup Way, a stroll through residential neighborhoods, and finishing with the peaceful quiet of the Eastlink Trail. For qualifiers on the Light Rail Challenge II, you can choose between Spring District and Bel-Red Stations.TRAIL: 6K/10K Rated 2B You will be walking on sidewalks paved pathways and some dirt trails.
Getting here: You can ride the Link Lt Rail from Redmond or several other link stations to the Bel-Red station. Parking is also available at this station.
Come join us!Registration: from 9:45-10:00. Stickers will be available at the start. Group walk leaves when registration closes at 10:00.
Misc: IVV Credit is $3. Donations to support these activities are appreciated as AVA charges clubs $2 per walker,

The Walks (West to East):
Wellington: See the portal of the original Stevens Pass railroad tunnel; the site of the Wellington railroad disaster; walk along and through several old railroad snow sheds; and great views of the Tye and Sky River valley.

Parking Pass Required: Northwest Forest Pass or Federal Recreational Lands Pass (Includes America The Beautiful)Nason Ridge and Hidden Lake: Two walks on the south side of Lake Wenatchee. Nason Ridge Trail gently climbs through a conifer forest with views of Lake Wenatchee, hills, and mountains. 10k reaches a ski warming hut with stunning views. Hidden Lake is a short hike to a beautiful mountain lake. 3k, 5k and 10k Rated 2C
Vault toilet at Nason Ridge trailhead, no toilets or cellphone reception at Hidden Lake Parking Pass Required: Northwest Forest Pass or Federal Recreational Lands Pass (Includes America The Beautiful)Lake Wenatchee State Park: Enjoy the woodsy beauty of Lake Wenatchee State Park with views of the lake and mountains beyond. The 5k is entirely within Lake Wenatchee State Park; register and drive to start.
8k/10k will leave from our home base at Lake Wenatchee Rec Club and follow paths through the woods to the park. 10k adds and out and back to Fish Lake 5k rated 1B 8k/10k rated 1C

Parking Pass Required: Discover Pass required for 5k onlyLeavenworth Ski Hill : Walk through the forested cross country ski hill area on the north side of Leavenworth. The event continues through residential areas to the downtown area of this Bavarian themed town before returning back to the ski hill. 5k and 10k rated 2B
Vault toilets at trailhead parking. No parking permit required.Bike Events: three paved routes: two on roads in the Lake Wenatchee/Plain area and one up Icicle Gorge road in the Leavenworth area.
