Do you like to WALK? Want to spice up your routes? Extend your distance? Meet other local people who are interested in WALKING for fitness, fun and exploration. EXPERIENCE VOLKSSPORT with us!

There are a number of ways to VOLKSSPORT and distances vary. Most walks are 10k (6.2 miles) but there are many 5k routes, some 20k and also 32k and 42k routes at the walking festivals.
You can participate in year round walks, group walks, club walks, event walks and walking festivals!

Join Interlaken Trailblazers in Woodinville to walk YR3162. Explore what is new in town. We will be registering at 9:45 and leaving to walk at 10:00. We will be gathering in front of the store.

Trail: This walk is rated 1A. You will walk on sidewalks and paved trails for most of the route.

Misc: All must sign a waiver for the walk. IVV Credit is $3. All walkers are welcome. Our club pays $2 to AVA for all walkers. Donations to support Volkssport Events like this is appreciated.

Most club members will be doing the 5K before our club meeting that day.

Lord Hill Regional Park hike 3.7 or 6.2 miles

Enjoy the beautiful scenery on this hike through Lord Hill Regional Park trail
system. You’ll see horses, an old quarry, hidden ponds, and if you are up to
the challenge, enjoy a view of Snohomish from the top of a hill. We suggest
you to bring hiking poles and water.
Sign in for the walk, time starts at 9:15 with a group walk starting at
9:30am. Look for a car with it’s back trunk open, in the parking lot.
Walking pace is a 20 minute mile. This is a non-competitive walk. Maps
and directions are available.
The club has costs to put on these walks so we ask for a donation. IVV/AVA
credit is available at $4.00. Registration is also available on the OSB
(my.ava.org).

Join Interlaken Trailblazers Volkssport club as we walk along Rattlesnake Lake and onto the Palouse to Cascade Trail. 5K/6K/10K available rated. This qualifies for the ESVA Parks Special Program

New routes give a visit to Christmas Lake and the Cedar Butte Trail 10K (3C). 6K goes to Christmas Lake on the way back to the start point at Rattlesnake Lake

We will be meeting at the lake to register as the Registration and stamp will be brought to the site.

Driving directions from I-90: From I-90E take exit 32 (436th Ave SE). Turn Right on 436th Ave SE continuing onto Cedar Falls Way to the end. Turn Left into the Seattle City Light Rattlesnake Lake Recreation Area Parking lot at the sign on your left. (no fee).

We will be meeting at the lake near the Kiosk and restrooms.

Please arrive about 9:45 to register to begin our walk at 10:00.

IVV Credit is $3. All walkers must register.Donations to support volkssport activities are appreciated.

"Lost Borders Walk": Walk either 6k or 11k with us!
Join us to walk Point Roberts - Point Roberts is a pene-exclave of the US state of Washington on the southernmost tip of the Tsawwassen peninsula, south of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

We will be walking as a group or you can have individual directions to walk with a smaller group. We will be meeting at Lighthouse Marine Park, 811 Marine Dr, Point Roberts, WA 98281.

Meet and sign up by 8:45, group walk starts at 9:00.

Experience breathtaking ocean views, the vibrant marina, and charming local neighborhoods on this scenic walk starting and finishing at Lighthouse Marine Park. This event offers a perfect blend of coastal beauty and local exploration. You will enjoy sweeping views of the Pacific, watch boats docked at the bustling marina, and meander through the quiet, picturesque neighborhoods of Point Roberts. This route provides a refreshing way to experience the unique charm of our community. We look forward to seeing you there for a great day on the route!
You will be crossing the international border. A valid passport or enhanced driver’s license is required to enter the US from Canada!

Olympic Peninsula Explorers have sanctioned the following walk and bike events September 26 - October 10:

- 11k walk (this event), 2A
- 15k bike and 25k bike (see separate event listing), 2A
All must register before the walk. IVV Credit is $3.00, Guest are welcome. We must pay AVA $2 for all walkers. Donations are always welcome to support events like this.
