Wandering in the Watershed (Redmond) 5K/10K (not a group walk)

F.S.Family Wanderers invite you to their walk event on Saturday Sept 20 in Redmond Watershed Preserve.
Trail: Walk on gravel or dirt trails through mossy woods and along streams and ponds in a popular park. Look for birds and enjoy all the shades of green! You'll share some of the trails with horses and mountain bikers, so canine friends will have to stay home trails is rated 2B. No dogs are allowed in the preserve.
The club will be registering walkers between 9:00 and 11:00. Please finish by 2:00pm. Restrooms available at start and finish of walk but no where else along the trail. This is a mapped walk.
Misc: All walkers must register. IVV credit is $4.00. Donations to support Volkssport activities are appreciated.Suggested Donation $4.00.
Driving Directions: 21760 NE Novelty Hill Road, Redmond WA. I-5: Exit 168B (SR520). Continue STRAIGHT when SR520 ends and becomes Avondale Rd. In one mile, BEAR RIGHT onto Novelty Hill Rd. After 2.3 miles, LEFT into Redmond Watershed Preserve at sign (sign may be hard to see, but it's across from 218th Ave NE). Parking is limited. Carpooling is encouraged. AS PART OF THE AGREEMENT WITH REDMOND PARKS, WE ARE NOT, NOT, NOT TO USE THE UNPAVED PARKING LOT.
