Join Emerald City Wanderers for our annual walk in Carnation, celebrating the Halloween season. The route explores Remlinger Farm and then on to the Snoqualmie Valley RR Trail, across the Tolt River, and into the town of Carnation, through residential neighborhoods, and the quaint commercial district. Enjoy views of farm fields, the Tolt and Snoqualmie rivers, and the Cascade Mountains. The 10K route will visit the Cascade Rose Alpaca Farm.

Misc: All walkers are welcome. All walkers must register and sign a waiver. IVV Credit is $4.00. Suggested donation of $4.00 to help us continue these special Events.

Driving Directions:
From I-5 or I-405: Exit onto SR-520, east, toward Redmond (Note – toll for drivers from I-5 to cross the 520 bridge. For no toll, exit I-5 onto eastbound I-90 instead, and follow directions below). Exit at Redmond Way / SR-202. Turn right on SR-202 and continue for 7.5 miles. Turn left on NE Tolt Hill Rd., and continue to intersection with SR-203. Cross SR 203 (NE Tolt Hill Rd. becomes NE 32nd St., here). Continue on NE 32nd, following signs to Remlinger Farm, and parking area on right. Registration is at the large white tent.
From I-90: Exit 22 “Preston-Fall City”. Eastbound drivers turn left at the end of the exit ramp and cross over I-90. Westbound drivers turn right at the end of the exit ramp. At the next stop sign, turn right, following the sign for “Preston-Fall City”. Continue 4 miles, through Fall City, to the T-intersection (sign for “North Bend”). Turn right and cross the bridge. Then at the round-about, take the second right, onto northbound SR-203. Continue 5 miles to NE 32nd St., and turn right to Remlinger Farms. Follow the signs to the farm and parking area on right. Registration is at the large white tent.
Comments:
Walk routes include dirt trails and road shoulders, as well as paved sidewalks in town. The AVA National Volkssport Month patch will be available for purchase. There will be 25 patches available. Those who come in costume will be eligible for a prize drawing. Restrooms available at the start location.
