Sign-in will be at the picnic area in between the Veterans Plaza and restrooms if available. Otherwise nearby in the parking area.
This is a nice way to honor our Veteran's and remember them.
Preferred registration via the Online Start Box (OSB), but in-person at the event is an option. In-person registration will start at 10:15 am; the walk starts at 10:30am.
Misc: All walkers must register and sign a waiver. IVV Credit is $4.00. All walkers are welcome. Suggested donation $4.00. We pay AVA $2.00 for each walker. Dogs are OK.
Restrooms are available at the Start. Many Porta Potties are along the route.
Trail: Enjoy beautiful Mountain View’s (it is in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains), paths winding past old pasture trails and historic buildings as you walk through Sedro Woolley's abandoned Northern State Hospital Grounds and alongside the Hospital. At one time, the hospital was the largest hospital for the mentally ill and was a town unto itself that included a working farm. You will walk past old barns, sheds, a cannery, and an unmarked gravesite.
