Shoreline Interurban walk offers a pleasant walk through parks, on bridges, in neighborhoods, and by schools. This walk has mostly paved surfaces with a few trails, stairs and some small hills. Everyone is welcome to walk at their own pace. Come prepared for the weather. Walk pace is approximately 3 mile hour.
Sign in required at 9:15am, with group walk starting at 9:30am. Maps and directions for routes are available. Restrooms are at Trader Joe's, and at Shoreline Parks. We will meet in front of Shoreline City Hall 17500 Midvale Ave N, Shoreline, WA 98133. Park on street, Trader Joes, or in City Hall parking garage.
The club has costs to put on these walks so we ask for a donation of $4. Challenges include Rails to Trails, Veterans, Tell me a Story, Par for the Course, Strolling along the River, and Butterfly(6k only)
Walk sponsored by Sound Steppers Walking Club. For more info about our club, see soundsteppers.org. For those of you who have access to directions for the Shoreline Interurban OSB, you can take the Link to the Shoreline 185th Link station for a 12K only. This option is not part of the group walk.
