No restrooms at the start of the walk.
Sound Steppers invites you to join us for a walk starting from the MT Library. The route passes the Link Light Rail station and then proceeds along sidewalks, quiet streets, the Lakeview Trail, and wooded paths. Along the way we get to explore lakeside Ballinger Park (converted golf course with fishing pier and views of Edmont Island), peaceful Lyon Park, and the Mountlake Terrace City Hall (with sculptures), and Library.
registration is required and begins at 9:15am, for both the 5k and 10k walkers, with group walk starting at 9:30am. Maps and directions for routes are available so you may join the group or walk and enjoy the sights along the way at your own pace. Restrooms are in the park approximately 2K into the walk.
This walk is rated 2A with slight elevations and mostly on paths or streets.
