Walk at Discovery Park, the former Fort Lawton, on Veterans' Day. . Discovery Park is the name the city bestowed on what was a long-time US Army base called Fort Lawton. Our route will visit the park and the military cemetery, providing a 5, 8 or 10K route. The 5K route is the basic and popular Loop Trail. The 8k adds the Daybreak Star Indian Cultural Center. The 10K route includes a walk down to the Lighthouse and back. The 5 and 8K routes are rated 2B. The 10K is 3B. Registration will be in the North Parking Lot from 9 AM to 10 AM. All walkers will pay the $4 fee.
