About us
Do you prefer long walks to running? Do you like trying new and exciting events in Colorado? Then this is your group! Come as you are, your true, authentic, amazing, imperfect self! Of course, avid runners are welcome too!
We have a walk just about every weekend. Mostly walk in different parks/outdoor trails located around the Denver Metro area. We will also plan museum exploring, outdoor/indoor galleries, art walls, music, camping, and any other adventures people are interested in. Suggestions encouraged!
The goal is to move our bodies more and participate in more local adventures, while creating meaningful connections with others and establishing a greater sense of community within the area!

Walk @ Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge
Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge, 6550 Gateway Road, Commerce City, CO, USLet's walk in this beautiful refuge. We will meet inside the Visitors Center, giving everyone a chance to walk through it to learn some interesting Colorado History. We will start walking at 2:10 pm.
There are 20 miles of hiking trails, and we will take off from the visitor center. Sorry, only service dogs are allowed due to the wildlife.
Before or after we walk, I highly recommend taking the 11-mile Wildlife Drive auto tour. See below for details.
"Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge was established in 2004, in part, to protect our national symbol, the bald eagle. The land has a unique story - it has survived the test of time and transitioned from farmland to wartime manufacturing site, to wildlife sanctuary. It may be one of the finest conservation success stories and a place where wildlife thrives.
One of the best ways to experience this 15,000-acre Refuge is by taking the 11-mile Wildlife Drive auto tour in your vehicle. Listen to the podcast, which corresponds with each mile marker along the way to discover more about the Refuge and its wildlife. The Wildlife Drive takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour to complete and is free.
