After our candy tour and walk, let's head downtown to honor our ancestors and loved ones with community altars, art installations, food trucks, live music, and dance at Civic Center Park.

If you want to park at my office and walk with me, please send me a PM. I will be there by 12:30 and leave at 12:45.

The event is free and open to the public from noon to 7 pm! You are welcome to come and/or stay as long as you want.

Día de los Muertos at Civic Center, presented by Denver Botanic Gardens, will bring the community together to honor our ancestors and loved ones who have passed, in reverence and celebration.
Civic Center Conservancy supports the vision of local curator, community builder, and founder of Manos Sagrados, Alicia “Bruce” Trujillo, who is serving as Artistic and Cultural Director. Under the direction of Manos Sagrados’ team, Colorful Colorado Collaborations and Kalpulli Calli Tecpatl will collaborate on this event to bring a unique and memorable celebration of life and transition that includes community altars, art installations, music and dance, a tianguis/marketplace, Mexican & Latin American food trucks, family-friendly activities, and a sunset procession around a centered, community ofrenda.
