The Corona Heights + 4 More Hills Walk

Details
We will be doing one of my favorite walks of all time. We walked it many times over the years, but it is still the same great, but not too big 5 hills.
Now open for RSVPs. The price is $5 cash, but I don't collect it to the middle of the walk. Get on the waiting list if full. Lots of members drop out. Attendance Max = 70. One guest is allowed per member if put on the RSVP. Bring a sack lunch and enough water to drink.
This walk starts and ends near the 16th Street BART Station at the cafe El Cafetazo, 3087 16th Street. One may buy food and drinks there. We gather there at 11:15 AM and at 11:30 AM start walking to our lunch spot, the Randall Junior Museum, arriving there a little after Noon. We will also enjoy visiting this free museum.
After lunch we walk over Corona Heights, 510', and then through the lovely Ashbury Heights neighborhood and up to the top of Mount Olympus, 570'. This walk has a lot of up and down walking including many stairs which will give attendees lots of exercise.
We then walk on to more hills and the views from these hills are spectacular. Also, there are lots of lovely flowers. There are more good things on this walk, such as a giant concrete slide that even adults enjoy.
The highest hill we will go over is Tank Hill which is 650 feet. Total distance is about 5 miles. I walk slow, 2 mph, but we won't have time to linger because our goal is to get back to our starting point at 4:30 PM. This is one of my favorite walks and it is of just moderate difficulty.
Photo at top was taken on this route. The dark blue flowers are from the giant flowers "Pride of Madera." It is a favorite of mine and also of the public as more of them are planted every year.
We did this great walk we got back to our starting point exactly on time, 4:30 PM. However, the top of Corona Heights was blocked, and we did not get the great views from up there, so we do it again.
This walking group is for humans only. No dogs or other animals allowed.
