Fall Foliage Viewing Hike from the Echo Trail to the Echo Overlook

Details
I prefer to post the Fall foliage hike on the Old Bristlecone Trail, but the Upper Bristlecone Trail is still closed, where the South Loop is the next best option. In an effort to conserve fuel, we’ll MeetUp at the Smith’s Marketplace (see the provided pin map for directions) near the Burger King and carpool to the trailhead. It’s also no problemo if someone prefers to drive directly the trailhead parking area; where the main group should arrive just pass 8am. A description of how to get to the trailhead is included in the “How to find us” information box. I’ll email the weather forecast the day prior for those who’ve signed up and will mention if the hike is postponed due to some circumstance. The Echo Trail to the Echo Overlook is an about 6.5mi there and back hike with close to 1500ft of rather gender elevation gain. There’s also some rocky and gravelly sections where sturdy footwear is recommended. Hopefully, the Aspen trees are at near peak color, of which there’s no guaranteed in that much depends on the weather. Also, please refrain from signing up any hike unless you’re certain of completing the hike without much difficulty. Unfortunately, this might be the last hike I’ll be posting at the Spring Mountains this season, though much depends on the weather. But the good news is we can soon commence hiking interesting hikes at the lower elevations - happy trails…
