Split & Dubrovnik

Let's go with the flow and spend 6 days in this truly most beautiful coastal part of Croatia !

We shall be taking flights when available as follows :

Saturday:

Easyjet - early morning to Split

Thursday :

Easyjet - evening from Dubrovnik

If you wish you could travel a day or two ahead of the trip or stay on after the trip and then visit Bosnia or Montenegro or even attend a Game of Thrones Tour !

Please book hotels of your choice as follows :

Split - Saturday, Sunday and Monday night

Dubrovnik- Tuesday and Wednesday night

After booking your hotels and flights please put a comment to that effect on the event page.

Likely itinerary ( all walks around 7 to 9 miles in length ) :

Saturday afternoon

Meet as from 3.15pm at Trogir ferry terminal

Either

UNESCO ancient city of Trogir visit

4pm ferry to Trogir

Return by bus

Or

Split 6 to 7 mile headland hilly walk by Marjan Forest commencing at 4pm

10am ferry to hike on Hvar Island
Hike to fortress then coastal path to Milna and its beach
Either walk back or bus back
Ferry back at 5.30pm

Monday

Morning bus at around 9am or 10am

Skradin & Krka National Park

Bus back at around 6pm

Tuesday morning

8am ( or 8.45am ) ferry to Dubrovnik passing several beautiful islands enroute

• either book online or from Split port kiosk

Tuesday afternoon

Walk around famed Walls in Dubrovnik - walk to commence by 5pm

Wednesday

Hike on Korkula Island travelling by ferry ( ferry to be booked online in advance or from Dubrovnik port kiosk at the latest by 3pm Tuesday afternoon )
Ferry outbound 8.05am
Ferry inbound 6.30pm

Thursday morning

Boat to Cavtat for hike and then afternoon at leisure - meet Old Town port at 10am

Or

9.30am ferry for Lokrum Island
Ferry back at 1.15pm

Afternoon at leisure

Meetup fee £40 ( season ticket holders £30 ) payable in advance in cash or by bank transfer.
