Hayling Island

Lets go for a 9 mile walk on this most wonderful island following the Billy Trail and then walking by the fabulous beach at the base of the island !

At 8.45am we shall start to buy group train return tickets for the 9.35am train to Havant that arrives at 11.24am.

Train ticket : Havant return.

Or you may decide to drive.

Walk starts by 11.35am.

Things to bring : packed lunch, water, snacks etc plus waterproof jacket, walking shoes or trainers and suncream, sunhat and sunglasses.

We shall take the bus back to Havant from the funfare.

Likely train back at 5.28pm.

Meetup fee : £8 in cash or £6 by Friday in advance by bank transfer, details supplied by private message.

You may wish to do Littlehampton to Pagsham walk the following day in which case you should travel light and book a room around Chichester.

You should be able to walk 2.5 miles per hour and have adequate and appropriate insurance for this type of activity.
