Brookwood to Ash Vale beautiful canal walk

A truly beautiful 8.5 mile walk along the Basingstoke Canal that takes in some lovely lakes along the way !

Let's go with the flow !

Please arrive by 9.20am at Waterloo under the clock so as to facilitate the purchase of group return train tickets for the 9.54am train to Brookwood that arrives at 10.44am.

Meetup fee £8 payable in cash or £6 non refundable in advance by bank transfer, details available by private message. No PayPal.

Train ticket : return to Ash Vale

Or you may decide to drive.

The walk shall commence by 10.55am.

Please bring packed lunch, water, snacks etc plus walking shoes boots or trainers.

We shall stop off some time after lunch at the Canal Cafe at Basingstoke Canal Visitor Centre.

We shall have a drink at The Swan pub on a Great Bottom Flash lake loop towards the end of the walk.

Please make sure that you have adequate and appropriate insurance for this type of activity and also you should be fit enough to walk 2.5 miles per hour.

Likely direct train back from Ash Vale at 4.39pm that arrives back at 5.45pm.
