A simply fantastic and unforgettable trip to this amazing little country that punches far above its weight in all its stunning beauty !
This is my favourite trip of all !
We shall be staying in charming Ljubljana so feel free to book any hotel of your choosing for 5 nights bearing in mind the location of Ljubljana bus station.
Obviously you may choose to arrive before the Tuesday or stay on for a few days after the Sunday.
Likely itinerary:
Tuesday :
Morning flight
Afternoon -
Meet 3pm for 3.30pm City Hotel
4 to 5 mile river stroll followed by Ljubljana Castle visit
Wednesday :
Take bus to Lake Bled at either 9.33am, 9.48am, 10.03am or 10.33am
Walk will start from bus stop at Lake Bled at 11.35am
4 miles perimeter around iconic Lake Bled taking in Bled Castle too if you wish - the pride of Slovenia the beautiful lake surrounded by mountains with a tiny island in which church weddings are held.
The group shall walk at ground level but some of you may choose to walk up to the castle along the way instead.
We shall have lunch at Lake Bled
Bus back any time between 3pm and 6pm

Bus at 9.30am
6/7 miles along River Gora from Hotel Spik to Kranjska Gora plus the amazing glacial Jasna Lake

Absolutely sensational rugged hike in the Triglav - meet 8.15am by City Hotel with packed lunch - coach LEAVES at 8.30am - along the Soca Trail the most beautiful river in Europe - challenging and stunning emarald and tourquoise colours that simply scintillate - 7/ 8 miles from Mala Korita Soce by Kamp Jelinca to approaching Bovec

If you can no longer attend you will be able to sell your place very easily.
You should be able to walk 2.5 miles per hour and have adequate and appropriate insurance for this type of activity.
Walking and hiking in the Great Outdoors presents certain low level risks and by rsvping to this trip you agree to undertake such risks.
If this trip has to be cancelled for whatever reason then it cannot be guaranteed that the coach monies will be refunded.
If you make arrangements with others for restaurants or taxis you should honour it.
