Delightful Colne Valley

Let's go with the flow on this absolutely stunning and varied 10 mile walk along the Grand Union Canal plus the beautiful tranquil iconic Little Britain Lake and the stunning lakes near to Denham !

Please arrive by 9.50am and at 10.05am we shall leave the meeting place in order to take the Elizabeth line train at 10.17am that arrives at West Drayton at 10.39am using your Oyster Card.

The walk shall commence by 11am.

Please bring waterproof jacket, walking shoes boots or trainers, packed lunchwater, snacks etc.

Meetup fee £8 payable in cash or bank transfer or £6 in advance paid by Friday, details supplied by private message.

We shall have lunch in the wonderful Colne Valley Visitors Centre.

Please make sure that you have adequate and appropriate insurance for this type of activity and you should be fit enough to walk 2.5 miles per hour.

We shall have a drink at the end of the walk in charming Denham where the famed actor John Mills resided.

We shall aim to take the 4.27pm train from Denham that arrives back in Marylebone at 5.03pm and we shall buy group train tickets at 4.15pm or you may choose to take the bus to Uxbridge and then take the tube
