Stunning River Wey Guildford to Godalming & Stag on the River pub

A truly beautiful 9 mile walk along the River Wey that becomes a bit of a hike in the afternoon as we make our way to the Stag on the River pub for an orange juice or lemonade !

One of the top 5 hikes - this is my favourite river walk !

Let's go with the flow !

Please arrive by 9.20am at Waterloo under the clock so as to facilitate the purchase of group return train tickets for the 10am train that arrives at Guildford at 10.33am.

Meetup fee £8 or £6 non refundable in advance by bank transfer payable by Friday.

Train ticket : return to Godalming.

Or you may decide to drive.

The walk shall commence by 10.45am.

Please bring packed lunch, water, snacks etc plus walking shoes boots or trainers.....best choice would be walking boots for this one.

Please make sure that you have adequate and appropriate insurance for this type of activity and also you should be fit enough to walk 2.5 miles per hour.

Train back from Godalming at 4.51pm that arrives back at 5.41pm.
