Reading to Henley Stunning Thames Path walk

A most glorious and stunning 10.5 mile walk by the Thames to delightful Henley!

Please arrive by 9.15am so as to facilitate the purchase of group return train tickets for the 9.50am train that arrives at Reading at 10.13am

Meetup fee £8 payable in cash or £6 by Friday in advance by bank transfer, details available upon request. No PayPal.

The walk shall start at 10.30am.

Please bring packed lunch, water, snacks etc plus waterproof jacket and walking shoes/ boots or trainers.

We shall have a lunch break in delightful village of Sonning.

At the end of the walk in Henley we shall have a drink at a riverside pub.

At around 4.45pm you can either return to London from Henley by buying a supplementary train ticket to Twyford or taking a bus to Maidenhead before taking the train back to London.

You should be able to walk 2.5 miles per hour and have adequate and appropriate insurance for this type of activity.
