Rye Circular

A most stunning & beautiful 8 to 9 mile walk by Winchelsea, River Brede, River Rother and Rye Harbour Nature Reserve that passes iconic Camber Castle !

Let's go with the flow !

Please only rsvp if you can walk 2.5 miles per hour and you should have adequate and appropriate insurance for this type of activity.

Please arrive by 9.20am to facilitate the purchase of group train tickets to Rye.

Train ticket : return to Rye HIGH SPEED TRAIN

We shall take the highspeed train at 10.04am that arrives at Rye at 11.57am after changing at Ashford International.

Walk will commence by 12.15pm.

Meetup fee £8 payable in cash or £6 by Friday in advance by bank transfer, details supplied upon request. No PayPal.

Please bring packed lunch, water, snacks etc as well as waterproof jacket and walking shoes/trainers or boots.

If sunny: sunhat, suncream and sunglasses.

We shall a drink at the end of the walk in most wonderful historic cobbled Mermaid Street.

We shall aim to take the train back from Rye at 5.48pm changing again at Ashford International.
