Hampstead Village Highlights

Hampstead Village has a rich history of intellectual and artistic associations and, of course, Hampstead Heath. With Hampstead having attracted the rich and famous over the last two centuries it's not surprising there are plenty of historical plaques which show a glimmer of its glamorous inhabitants.

The terrain does have a few inclines (Hampstead is on a hill you know). There are steps and stairs and so not suitable for the less able or for pushchairs/wheelchairs. We will briefly venture onto the Heath to enjoy the view please wear sensible footwear. Group post drinks are available for this walk. Bring your camera and your friends.

Meeting place: Hampstead Tube Station. We leave promptly. I will be at the meeting place 10 mins before departure. I will have my phone (07545 020406) but will switch it to silent at the start of the walk as it’s distracting during a guided walk.
