I've been surprised that there isn't an obvious meetup style event in town. It seems pretty easy to organize so I thought I would give it a shot!
I envisage an age range of 20s to 40s - but it's open to all. I am aiming for the vibe to be low key fun.
My hope is that people will be able to find each other through this group, and create pub quiz teams, form hiking pods, arrange book clubs, build friendships, find sworn enemies, or whatever else.
Initially, I'll be looking to do weekly drinks in the largest most generic pub I can find - Speights! It would be great if other people want to get involved and organize events too.
