Hike to See the Pawlings Witness Tree and the VF River Trail

Join Della for a spring hike to visit the historic Pawlings Witness Tree and explore a scenic section of the Valley Forge River Trail.
This hike will be approximately 3.5 to 4 miles. The route includes a few hills, but nothing too difficult. The trail is mostly dirt and gravel with some roots and rocks along the way.
Please wear appropriate footwear such as athletic sneakers, walking shoes, or hiking shoes. It is also a good idea to bring water and sunscreen.
Important: There are no bathrooms at this meeting point, so please plan accordingly before arriving.
We will meet at the Pawlings Trailhead of the Schuylkill River Trail. The parking lot is accessed from Station Road at the intersection of Pawlings Road, right next to St. Gabe’s School.
