Passport Tasting: Five Wines, Five Countries with Sommelier Amanda Blevins

$99 per person, includes the wine tasting and a small plate with every pour.

Grab your passport, we're going around the world without leaving the US! Amanda Blevins of Blevins Sommelier Services is bringing five wines from five countries for a guided tasting just for us.

Amanda caught the wine bug in her twenties working in a wine shop, then worked at a winery in Grapevine, Texas. She stepped away to raise her family and came back to wine, and now she's a WSET Level 3 sommelier who teaches classes through Main Line School Night. She calls herself a "mom somm," and her favorite part is the story behind the bottle: who grew it, where, and why it tastes the way it does.

- Spain: Villa Conchi Brut Cava
- New Zealand: McBride Sisters Sauvignon Blanc
- France: Chateau Minuty M Rose from Provence
- Italy: Barba I Vasari Old Vines Montepulciano d'Abruzzo
- Chile: Vistamar Cabernet Syrah Gran Reserva

Amanda will walk us through each one and show us how to taste like a pro. I'm making a little plate to go with every wine, and she'll explain why each pairing works. Come hungry, five small plates add up!

A quick note on refunds: tickets are non-refundable, since I'm buying the wine and food ahead of time for exactly 12. If something comes up, let me know. If there's a waitlist and I'm able to fill your seat, I'll refund you. And if I ever have to cancel the event for any reason, everyone gets a full refund.

Home events are reserved for women I've had the opportunity to meet through the club. If we haven't met yet, come out to one of our other events first and you'll have the opportunity to join us at the next one :)
