Coming this summer: Van tours to wineries in the surrounding wine regions and an overnight to Walla Walla!
We believe wine tastes best when shared with friends, and you can never have too many friends who wander and wine :)

Hellllloooooo Wanderers!
Joan here. Now that there's a chance of sunny-ish weather in our beautiful home state, we are back and ready to wander locally, with you! I can't wait to catch up with you and I hope you've been wandering and wine-ing while I was gone. We spent the winter wandering through the beautiful wine regions of Mexico and I can't wait to tell you about our discoveries!This is their second annual fun run and it seems like a great way to hang with other wine lovers and explore the original Willamette Valley Estate, including the original plantings, a.k.a. The Bernau Block.
Tickets are $55 now, and include a T-shirt, $10 towards a wine purchase, and a celebratory wine toast post race! 5k Prices increase to $60 on April 30th, 2025 at 11:59 pm pt.

We can firm up the transportation options and pre and post plans in the upcoming weeks, but tickets will sell out, so please do that first :)
I mean, we WILL be in wine country, after all, so maybe we go the night before, or post race lunching or tasting at a couple wineries afterwards-who knows?? That's the privilege of a wanderer, adventures can be made up as we go along, and changed on the fly! Feel free to throw out some suggestions for the group's consideration :)About the Course:
The tentative 5k course will take runners and walkers through the Estate property, including the lower Bernau Block - Willamette Valley Vineyards' original planting. You'll pass through "Into the Woods," Willamette’s camping, RV, and outdoor facility, and finish with a challenging and rewarding climb up the vineyard’s iconic drive.
This course features very challenging ascents and descents, as well as a mix of paved roads, gravel roads, and dirt terrain through the Vineyards.Here's a link to all the details, FAQs, etc. including an arial photo of the proposed course!
