About us
We are world travelers, wine enthusiasts, and community builders who believe the best adventures are shared! With Seattle meetups hosted by Kayla and Portland meetups hosted by Joan, our group brings together women who love discovering great wine, exploring new places, and making genuine connections.
Rooted in two vibrant cities and inspired by a shared love of travel, we are building a community for women who wander and wine.
Partnered with 2 To Go Travel: 2 cities, 2 friends, one shared love of wine, travel, and bringing women together.
Meet Kayla!
Kayla is a four year nomad who has built her life around travel, connection, and new experiences. From van life to exploring wine regions across the U.S. and beyond, she has a deep love for wine, books, and discovering new places. Seattle and England are two places that feel most like home to her, each inspiring her love of connection, culture, and adventure in different ways. What she loves most is bringing people together and creating spaces where women can come together, share experiences, and build genuine friendships. Whether it is over a great glass of wine or a shared adventure, Kayla is all about turning new connections into lasting friendships.
Meet Joan!
Joan is a travel extraordinaire with a natural gift for making everyone feel welcome. With experience as a travel tour guide and world traveler, she loves wine, exploring new places, and creating experiences that bring people together. Her favorite places to land are Portland and Mexico, where she feels most at home. Whether it is a local meetup or an adventure somewhere new, Joan has a way of turning simple moments into meaningful, shared experiences.

As for the vineyards, you’ll soar above them by gondola or hike among the grapes in Rüdesheim and sip wines in Bernkastel as well, learning the legend of the Bernkasteler Doctor. Discover the celebrated Champagne region of France in Reims, the unofficial capital of Champagne. Whatever you choose to do ashore, the stories you’re told and flavors that grace your palate will surely transform you.
Bookend your travels with stays in two incredible destinations rich with history and culture: pre-cruise 2 nights in Amsterdam and/or post-cruise in Paris or The Champagne region.## Details
A very important group etiquette reminder: Sometimes we post events that are "unhosted" because neither Joy nor I can attend, as we travel quite a bit. We've started posting "unhosted" events when we find some thing only offered at a specific time and we think our members might want to do it. Unless we mention otherwise in the event description, for all of our hosted events, if you RSVP, please be certain you will attend, or please promptly change your RSVP if you know you can't.
We intentionally keep our event groups small, so everyone can be heard. It's a common practice for people to choose "Yes" when they first see the event because space is limited, I do this myself, too, so we usually have a waitlist. We suggest joining the waitlist, because often people on the list cancel before the event. Meetup will automatically add the next person on that waitlist to the "You're Going" side of things, so you might get to join us! If you are on the waitlist, please check in on the event a few times to see if you've gotten an upgrade. If you've made other plans in the meantime, please immediately change the "You're Going" status for you to "No", to give the next person the spot :)
Also: We'd love to onboard other women hosts in our group, even if you just offer to host the "unhosted" events we post and only want to do it once. Please feel free to suggest events for us to post, too, by reaching out to us. It's just a quick setting switch to get you set up as an organizer, a.k.a host, and listed in the event description. No pressure, honestly, our wonderful members always make it really fun :)2 attendees
