About us

Welcome to the Warsaw Practical Management Group.
This is an English-speaking group for people dealing with the practical, everyday work of management.
The focus is not theory for its own sake. We meet face to face and work through dilemmas, case studies, skills, and real situations. The point is to practice, compare judgment, and leave with better options than the ones you came in with.

You can expect sessions where participants do most of the talking. Sometimes we will work with prepared scenarios. Sometimes we will use problems people bring into the room. Sometimes we will play a game that teaches us something new, and we reflect on it to get its value. Either way, the work is the same: understand what is happening, name the choice in front of the manager, and decide what a useful next step could look like.

This group is especially for:

  • new managers who are discovering that management can be lonely
  • people who want to become managers
  • people who have been told they are about to be turned into managers
  • experienced managers who want a room where they can talk plainly about hard choices
  • leaders without a formal title who still carry responsibility for the work and the people around it

The tone is practical and respectful. You do not need to perform confidence here. Bring the messy version of the problem.
