Most of us spend hours every day staring at screens. This narrows our visual sense, puts the body into hyper-vigilance and dysregulation, which can cause shallow breathing, tight posture, racing thoughts, and difficulty putting the phone down, even when we want to.
This meetup is a chance to step away from screens and give your mind and body the reset they need.
I’m Lara, an Alexander Technique teacher and transformational coach who helps people reclaim their inherent sense of freedom and joy.
Together we’ll explore simple practices you can use anytime to expand your vision, calm your mind, and re-energize your whole system.
We’ll gather as a group for guided practices, then continue with a meditation walk and quiet reflection.
This gathering is an opportunity to experience the principles of deep transformation at no cost.
You’ll go home with a simple, powerful process to allow you to come back to presence any time you are feeling anxious or lost, opening yourself to new levels of peace and possibility.
Once you learn this process for yourself, you can use it to help a friend or child settle their nervous system, support a client in releasing trauma and pain, or share it with anyone who would like to rest more deeply and live more fully.
The world thinks we can force positive change on ourselves and others but if it were that easy, we would all have already done it.
