SHARE group trip to Amish Country near Lancaster PA. 4 days / 3 nights.
(NOTE: Max "in a real bed" capacity at this location is 10. Three queen beds and two double beds. But other options exist in very large downstairs with pool table, air hockey table, sofas, exercise room. And camping is an option. Tentative plans are for 12 people max, with a couple people having offered to sleep in sofas or in the large downstairs on air mattresses etc. If we go above 12 people and you want to go, please contact me. Cancellations happen often, or downstairs or camping options exist)
- Let’s have some fun and hang out!! This is time to hang out as one whole group, or in smaller groups. Whatever you want….with other SHARE members. Schedule will be stress free.
- We'll travel in a few vehicles total, departing from northern VA at my house, and from MD depending on where the people who are coming live. Could even be a Baltimore vehicle, for example. We'll work things out...pick you up on the way....
- SHARE members are welcome to travel from farther away, and make a longer vacation out of it, staying in DC or elsewhere for extra days. This has happened often!! Yes, those of you SHARE members around the world, I'm talking to you.
- House is in a great location with lots of stuff around in Amish country and Lancaster PA etc.
- There is an Indoor fireplace, outdoor firepit, basement rec room with pool table, air hockey table, dart board, exercise equipment, treadmill. Plus large screen TVs, Dish network with 250 channels. Lots of outdoor furniture, bbq grill, fenced in yard, garden, patio.
- No pets allowed...sorry.
- Hiking trails nearby.
- No Wifi!!!!
- Visiting Lancaster and other Amish areas is easy. Details TBD, based on interest.
- Sitting by the firepit at night, chatting and listening to music (my favorite, unless it rains 😊)
- All activities are TBD…but no need to be busy….let’s just hang out and do whatever active or chilling stuff you want.

Lodging: Will be in one large home.
- 5 beds total. Three queen beds and two double beds. (Some can also sleep in the large downstairs on sofa or sleeping bag or whatever, or camp out outside, depending on weather). A queen and double are located in the loft.
- Two full bathrooms, plus one half bathroom in the basement.
- Anyone who sleeps in the main large bedroom will have to share that bathroom.
- We can have male only or female only roommates if you want…but let’s not stress. It’s just one weekend! If you are concerned, please contact me.
Number of people: Maximum 10, but 2-3 more if some are willing to sleep downstairs or outside or whatever…trip will happen if minimum of 7 come. First people to pay get their spots reserved, and bed preferences.
Payment: Cost is $250 total for 3 nights. Must pay for all three nights even if you need to only stay two nights. Financial help available...If you can’t afford this, please call me. Spots are not reserved until you pay me! Send in money to reserve a spot.
