What we’re about
Grab your unicycle and let's ride! It's more fun--and turns more heads--to ride together. In DC, Maryland, and Virginia there are many fun and interesting places to ride: the east plaza of the US Capitol building, the Georgetown waterfront, bike paths along the rivers, the Mall, the national Arboretum on NY Ave, various off-road trails, Custis Trail, W&OD Trail, C&O Canal, etc. Our goal is to promote unicycling to all riders whether you're just learning, been riding for many years, used to ride and are getting back into it, or are interested in learning. We schedule a variety of rides including skills practice on an outdoor basketball court, distance rides of 10 miles or more, muni, parades, and fun rides around places like the DC Mall.
We try to schedule at least 2 rides per month, though it tends to trail off in the winter when the weather is really cold. If you have a ride you want to do, shoot a note to the organizers and we'll get it set up.
Come join us and share in our unique and balanced sport!
BTW, if you don't have a working unicycle, reach out and I may find a loaner.
