Join Kyle Krakow, Field Biologist & Community Organizer of the Legacy Forest Defense Coalition to celebrate a forest saved with LFDC and friends! Located on the ancestral lands of the Snoqualmie Tribe in southern Tiger Mountain State Forest, the controversial South Paw timber sale was officially canceled last year following sustained opposition from the Snoqualmie Tribe and concerned residents. Experience the forest firsthand and get involved in the campaign to protect Tiger Mountain.
Conditions: Mild challenge; unpaved path with small elevation changes. This walk is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. Trekking poles optional. No benches along trail, but there are some logs for lower sitting. Cell service is relatively good for most providers.

What to Bring: Sturdy hiking boots/sneakers, rain gear if needed, water and snacks. No passes or permits required.
Meet Up Info: We will park and meet at the parking area on the west side of Tiger Mountain Rd SE, about 1/3 of a mile northeast of Issaquah-Hobart Road SE (47.442466, -121.977652)
