About us
It’s hard to maintain friendships when you’re unemployed, especially long-term. How do you justify spending money on going out when no money is coming in? What annoying drama about your co-workers can you talk about with your friends? How many more times will your parents ask you to give your resume to the CEO of that dream company you applied for?
I don’t know about you, but I’ve started seeing the slow creep of isolation come in. Little by little, I can’t justify spending the money to see them, or our schedules don’t align, or I just have nothing to talk about.
I like to propose a club for those of us struggling to find work in the 2026 job market. Anyone is welcome, full-time employed people who are looking to pivot, part-timers who want to vent about hours getting cut, and us unemployed, who are pulling out our hair at home.
We can look over cover letters and resumes and stuff- nothing wrong with that- but I’d prefer this is a social club for those of us struggling. We’re keeping it low-cost to keep it accessible. Let’s hang out, talk, and complain. I can’t wait to meet you!
