About us
**Washington Root & Branch Society (WRBS)** – *Evolved from the Seattle Psychedelic Society*
Welcome to our next chapter. After years as the Seattle Psychedelic Society, we've grown into something broader: **Washington Root & Branch Society**. Same community, same curiosity, expanded vision.
**What "Root & Branch" Means**
**Roots:** We dig deep into ancestral wisdom—how humans lived, ate, healed, and connected for millennia. Traditional foodways, analog living, ancestral plant medicines, movement, community structures, and the deep patterns that made us human.
**Branches:** We reach toward emerging frontiers—biohacking, peptide protocols, self-optimization, modern research, and innovations that help us thrive in the present while honoring our biology.
**Psychedelics remain.** They are simply one of many tools in our kit—ancestral technologies that happen to pair beautifully with modern neuroscience and optimization. If you came for the psychedelic community, you're in the right place. We're just adding more tools to the toolbox.

**Who We Are**
• We welcome all people regardless of experience level. Many members are exploring ancestral health for the first time; others have been biohacking for years. All paths converge here.
• We create meetings and events for EVERYONE—from foraging walks and ancestral cooking circles to peptide education and optimization protocols.
• We advocate Less "othering" and more "togethering."
• We don't engage in divisive identity politics. We belong to the tribe of humanity.
• We are not a place to source substances. Keep those requests to yourself.
• We are curious and encourage you to be.
• We value Freedom of Speech.
**Our Interests Include:** Ancestral nutrition, traditional food preparation, foraging, hunting, analog living, digital detox, plant medicines, psychedelics, microdosing, biohacking, peptides, hormone optimization, sleep science, movement, breathwork, cold exposure, community building, decriminalization, sovereignty, gardening, fermentation, philosophy, spirituality, and the ongoing project of becoming fully human.

Come with an open heart and mind. Make friends. Be thoughtFULL of others.
"Avoid gurus, follow plants—and data, and tradition, and what works for you."
This isn't a race. Take time to know people, research deeply, and pursue what serves you. A gentle approach and patience go a long way.
**Welcome to the roots. Welcome to the branches.**
