What we’re about
We are new learners, seasoned speakers, and native speakers; we meet regularly to teach each other and share our learning journeys. Some members have no language skills and are just interested in East Africa, others are taking formalized classes elsewhere (live, duolingo, italki, etc), while others are native speakers seeking to share and further hone their skills.
Beyond the language learning, we seek to share culture, food, music, and laughs as we talk about the peoples, places, and intriguing things about EAC (Jumuiya ya nchi za Afrika mashariki). For those that are local to Massachusetts, we will be meeting more and more regularly as the weather permits.
