About us
We're a casual group of watercolor painters who get together to paint, learn, and grow alongside each other. Whether you've been painting for years or you're just picking up a brush for the first time, there's a place for you here. We believe watercolor is as much about embracing happy accidents as it is about technique, so there's no pressure to be perfect. We'll work through different subjects, explore color mixing, talk about materials that actually work, and just enjoy the meditative process of putting paint to paper.
Each meetup is pretty relaxed—you'll bring your supplies, set up where it's comfortable, and we'll usually have a loose theme or subject to work on together. But honestly, if you want to paint something completely different, that's fine too. We share tips, ask questions, and cheer each other on. It's as much about the community as it is about the painting. Sometimes we'll study a particular technique or artist, and sometimes we'll just show up with our paints and see where the day takes us.
If you love watercolor or you're curious about it, come hang out with us. You don't need to be talented or experienced. You just need to show up with an open mind and a willingness to have fun with some paint and water.
