Speaker 1: Fareed Idris (Kreoh)

Fareed is the Co-Founder and Head of Technology at Kreoh, a Dublin-based AI company that works with SMEs and multinational enterprises as both a consultancy and product company. Their flagship product, the R&D Engine, is a multi-agent platform that helps R&D tax consultants produce high-quality technical reports in half the time. Since co-founding the company in 2022, Fareed has helped grow Kreoh from an early-stage startup to one of Ireland's top 100 startups (Business Post/Enterprise Ireland, 2025), through the NDRC accelerator, and into engagements with clients and government bodies across Europe, Asia, and Australia. Before Kreoh, he built an Android tool at 16 that reached tens of thousands of users and later developed an edtech platform adopted by two universities during his Master's in Computer Science at UCD.

Tech Talk: The UX of AI: How Harness Design Shapes Performance

The value of AI depends on how effectively people can use it. A poorly designed harness can hide context, create ambiguity, encourage weak interactions and ultimately lead to poor outcomes, even when the underlying model is highly capable. This talk looks at how UX and harness design shape human performance with AI, and why designing the environment around the model is critical to helping people get better results.

Speaker 2: Ethan O'Mahony (Tenable)

Ethan joined Tenable as a Data Scientist in 2023 after completing his BA Mathematics & Statistics @ Trinity College Dublin. He spent almost 3 years working on building recommendation systems, Machine Learning models and chatbots. In early 2026 he transitioned to the Software Architecture team as an AI Engineer with a focus on internal AI Tooling systems. Over the last few months, he has helped build a suite of internal tools to track, optimize and improve adoption of AI across our entire Engineering department. In his free time, he likes to play around with new local AI models and Open Source AI projects, as well as build custom keyboards and keep up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity news.
