Welcome to a film club specifically created for people born in the 90s and 2000s!
We belong to that unique transition generation: we remember rewinding VHS tapes, renting DVDs at Blockbuster, MSN Messenger, and the birth of early social media. That shared background gives us a common mindset and a natural, effortless way to connect.
What We Do
While our generational identity and shared memories as 90s & 00s borns bring us together, our love for cinema spans all eras and genres. Whether it’s an indie gem, a modern blockbuster, a timeless classic, or a cult film, we love discussing great movies.
How It Works
- Movie Night at Princess Cinema: We meet up to watch a movie together on the big screen at the historic Princess Cinema in Uptown Waterloo.
- Post-Movie Drinks & Debate: After the film, we head to a nearby pub or cafe to grab a drink, break down the movie, and debate every plot point.
- Connect & Socialize: The main goal is to socialize, share laughs, and meet fellow cinephiles from our exact generation who share the same reference points and vibe.
(Movie choices and meetup dates are set in advance for each event, so you just have to show up and enjoy!)
