The walk

Graham is leading this 9+ mile walk, Leaving the cars walk down to The Soldiers Trench Hall, take the footpath up to Baildon Hill trig point. Taking the path that will pass by the Cup & Ring marked stones, crossing Bingley Road, taking the path to Birch Close Farm, onward to Weecher Reservoir, crossing the road and taking the path to The 12 Apostles Stones. Back tracking, taking the footpath over Bingley Moor to reach Dick Hudsons. Short walk on the road to Eldwick Crag Farm, taking the path that will take us to Golcar Farm, cross Bingley Road to Glovershaw Farm and the path back to the Glen and the cars.

The distance is 9+ miles.

Meeting:
Usually, we gather from 10.00 to 10.15 to start the walk at 10.30 from the Meeting Place and are circular unless otherwise indicated.

Note:
Walking boots, waterproofs and a packed lunch are required.
We do not allow dogs as we go through many farmer's fields with livestock.
As well as the Meetup members shown we also have members of BSW and CHA making a group of 6 to 16

Fees
New membership for 2024 is £10 or £18 for a couple for 100's of walks with any of our 6 mid-week groups. For anyone who is not an annual member, we ask for a £1 donation toward our admin and insurance costs.
